Samui's most popular and populated beach, located on the east coast. With its long wide stretch of sand and excellent sea bathing, it is home to some of the island's largest hotels, with lots of activity including water and sand sports, strolling vendors, and music playing at beachside bars. Caution is advised during the months of January through April, when strong rip currents can be present.
